Offering leadership training to broadcast engineers has long been a commitment of the SBE, and this year is no different.  Instructing this course for the third year is Rodney Vandeveer, a Professor of Organizational Leadership and Supervision at Purdue University. He brings more than 30 years of industrial and business experience in management positions in human resources, training and development and manufacturing.   This highly interactive course includes discussions and group exercises on various workplace scenarios.  Specific subjects include a self-assessment, generational differences in the workplace, managing  conflict, leading change, and much more. The cost for SBE members is $590 and $640 for non-members. Would you like to speak with someone who actually participated in the course? Contact Kimberly Kissel at kkissel@sbe.org and she will put you in touch with a past student.
